Why Assist Caregivers?

Connecting Caregivers

A person receiving care may have multiple caregivers sharing duties. Assist Caregivers provides a single location where multiple caregivers can keep each other up-to-date on the person’s care without having to call, email, or text one another.

Connecting Caregiving Organizations

In certain cases, a person may receive care from multiple organizations. When a person is under the care of an organization and then the person is transferred to the care of another organization – sometimes in the same day – each organization can be kept informed of noteworthy daily care issues.

Connecting Loved Ones

A person’s loved ones cannot always be present when the person is receiving care. It can be a daunting task when a loved one has to relay information between multiple caregivers, organizations, and other loved ones. The same can be true for multiple caregivers and organizations keeping loved ones apprised.

Connecting Legally Responsible Parties

Sometimes a person receiving care has a legal guardian. Whether the guardian is a loved one or a company appointed by a court to be the person’s guardian, the guardian has a legal duty to be kept informed of a person’s care.

How It Works

Step 1: Signup

Create your account. You will need to provide your name, address, cell phone number and email.

Step 2: Add Care Recipient's Information

Add care recipient’s information, i.e., medications, allergies, personal likes/dislikes, and any other information you believe that caregivers and organizations should be aware of. You will be able to change and update this information at any time.

Step 3: Invite Others via Email

Send an email to family members, friends, organizations, and legal representatives. The invitational email will be a custom unique invitation for the invitee to create an account or access the person’s account if the invitee already has an account.

Step 4: Manage Organizational Access (Optional)

If you are the administrator account for the recipient, you may optionally at any time grant or deny access for any organization that is providing care services. We realize that organization providing care change, and we are committed to giving you full control over access to the person’s information.

Step 5: Manage Caregiver Access (Optional)

You may optionally at any time grant or deny access to any caregiver that is providing or has provided care services. Caregivers come and go for many reasons, and we recognize that once a caregiver not always a caregiver.

Step 6: Manage User Access (Optional)

If you are the administrator account for the recipient, you may optionally at any time grant or deny access for any other user for the recipient.
