What is a Recipient?
A Recipient is someone who receives some type of care from other persons, companies, etc.
What is an Administrative User?
An Administrative User is a user account that controls all aspects of a particular Recipient on the website and mobile apps.
When you create a Recipient, you are by default the Administrative User. You will cease being the Administrative User if you
transfer control of the Recipient to another user. You can only transfer control to another individual user that has access to the Recipient’s information. You cannot transfer control to a company or a caregiver.
Must a Recipient meet certain requirements to be deemed a Recipient?
No. A Recipient does not have to meet any particular requirements. We do not verify anything about the Recipient. We recommend, but do not require,
that the Recipient be receiving some type of care by a third-party, whether that be a person, school, company, etc. But you are free to
use the site for individuals that do not receiver care per se.
Why do you require Date of Birth and last 4 Social Security numbers for a Recipient?
We do not sell or share a Recipient’s DOB or last 4 Social Security numbers. We do not verify DOBs or the last 4 Social Security numbers for a Recipient. We require this information for a Recipient for two primary reasons.
First, is helps prevent duplicate Recipients from being created for the same person in our system. The Recipients full name along with DOB and last 4 Social Security numbers is a fairly unique set of data that prevents against the odds of duplicates being created.
Second, it establishes that the person creating the Recipient has at least a minimum amount of information about the person. We would like to prevent people creating accounts for people they do not know. Unfortunately,
there is nothing to prevent a malicious user from creating fake Recipient accounts (for example Recipient accounts for famous people), but those accounts will not be valid for real users that create real
Recipient accounts because the DOB and last 4 Social Security numbers will not accurately identify the real Recipient.
Can I transfer being an Administrative User to someone else if I no longer want to be the Administrative User?
Yes, however, there must be another user that has access to the Recipient in order to transfer Administrative User status. If you are the Administrative User
and there is another user that has access to the Recipient, you will see the ability to transfer at the top of the Recipient’s Home Page.
Who can change the Recipient’s information and allow/deny access to others?
Only the Administrative User can alter the Recipient’s information, add/remove medications, enable/disable caregivers from accessing the Recipient’s information, enable/disable companies from accessing the Recipient’s information, and enable/disable other users that have access to the Recipient’s information.
How do I delete the Recipients account?
On the Recipient’s Home Page you will see a button “Delete Recipient Account.” If you delete the Recipient’s account, all information will be deleted immediately. We cannot recover a deleted account. Deletion is permanent.
How do I delete my account?
On your Home Page you will see a button “Delete My Account.” You will not be able to delete your account if you are the Administrative User for any Recipient. You must first transfer Administrative User control to another
user before you will be able to delete your account. If you delete your account, all information will be deleted immediately. We cannot recover a deleted account. Deletion is permanent.

How does Assist Caregivers generate revenue?
Primarily we rely on donations. We generate a very small amount showing advertising while you are using the website and mobile apps, but that is not enough to cover our costs.
